Groundcover Plugs
Ground covers are great plants and have many purposes in the garden. Weed control and erosion prevention are a few of the benefits, along with attracting bees and butterflies. Most ground covers do not grow over 6 inches tall when mature and spread out to blanket the surrounding area. Make sure that you consider the amount of sun needed when planting your groundcovers. If sufficient sunlight is unavailable to the plant, you will see your plants start to suffer, and be unable to reach maturity.
Ground covers are very hardy! They require little fertilization during the growing season. Most ground covers respond well to a slow-release perennial fertilizer to feed them all season long.
